Airglow at the Flying Show The Flying Show takes place each year at the NEC Birmingham, on the first weekend in December. In 2014 we Team Airglow members help with Guy Martin's Speed Airglow team members provided advice and untimely piloting for Guy Martin's HPA speed attempt. Standing: Dave Icarus Cup Day 2 Sunday 15th July Sunday morning dawned flyable (we know this because we were up!) but with no instantly serviceable aircraft; Roger was half Icarus Cup 2012 Day 1 Having arrived on Friday afternoon, partially set the aircraft and sorted out the accommodation, Saturday 5am briefing was held in Test Flying on 5th July 2012 So, off we went back to Kemble on the evening of 4th July to set up and be ready for Airglow Victorious at the First Icarus Cup We did it! Team Airglow won the Team prize at the inaugural Royal Aeronautical Society Icarus Cup, With Robin Kraike finishing in Test flying – 19th and 20th June 2012 Off to Kemble for the first test flying of the year.
